Deputy Executive Director, Housing Authority

The Jefferson County Housing Authority currently has one full-time vacancy for Deputy Executive Director, Housing Authority.

Job Duties: This is administrative work assisting in directing and coordinating a comprehensive housing authority program. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and directing program activities. You will assist in developing and enforcing procedures and policies. You will collect, analyze, and summarize information and data. You will maintain and manage rural development sites. In order to be considered, applicants must be PA residents, must pass the associated Civil Service exam, and must meet the following minimum requirements: two years of professional administrative supervisory experience in a housing authority or other publicly or privately owned government subsidized housing and a bachelor’s degree; OR three years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience, and a bachelor’s degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training which included two years of professional administrative supervisory experience in subsidized housing or three years of professional administrative experience in residential property management, which included two years of supervisory experience.

Starting Salary: $45,000/annually, with excellent benefits. (Salary is negotiable, depending on qualifications.)

There will be no rescheduling or retesting under this announcement.
