Franklin County Human Resources Director

Seeks a dynamic, motivated and innovative leader of our Human Resources Department to support approximately 700 employees in administering county governmental functions. As 1 of 8 Division Leaders, this crucial position oversees a budget of $1.1 million and is responsible for coordinating payroll, benefits, policy changes and employee training.

Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in Management, Human Resources, Personnel Administration, Business Management or any other related field. Master’s degree in Human Resources, as well as PHR/SPHR and SHRM certifications, preferred. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position may be considered. Computer training and skills required. Five to seven years progressive experience in human resources, payroll administration and HRIS, including three to five years Supervisory experience in an agency level with direct supervisory of five or more professional staff, preferably in the public sector.

Salary $80,558.40 - $125,236.80. In addition to salary a competitive benefits package.
