County Mental Health Program Specialist 1 (Local Government)

Bedford-Somerset Developmental and Behavioral Health Services (DBHS) has one vacancy for a County Mental Health Program Specialist 1 (Local Government).

Applications will only be accepted between February 12, 2018 and February 26, 2018. When applying, you must indicate a willingness to accept employment in Bedford and Somerset Counties. The primary work site will be in either Bedford or Somerset County, depending on the applicant. You must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

Job Duties

You will be responsible for program planning, development, evaluation, monitoring, and coordination relating to the Agency’s quality improvement activities. You will assist with program development, analyzing and troubleshooting issues. You will write and revise policies. You will facilitate meetings. You will interpret federal, state, and agency polices, and provide technical assistance. You will conduct internal audits. You will research, analyze data, and compile reports.

In order to be considered, applicants must be PA residents, and must meet the following minimum requirements: two years of professional level experience in the field of mental health; and a bachelor's degree; OR any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Starting Salary: $32,019/annually, plus benefits
