Workforce Development Analyst 2


Employment Opportunities: The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry currently has eight vacancies for Workforce Development Analyst 2 in Dauphin County. Some positions may be designated as bilingual (Spanish-speaking).

Applications will only be accepted until December 9, 2017. When applying, you must indicate a willingness to accept employment in Dauphin County. For some positions, you must be willing to travel. Travel expenses will be paid.

Job Duties: You will perform rapid response activities necessary for services to dislocated workers. You will provide interpretation and explanation of program policies and initiatives. You will develop materials for meetings, briefings, conferences, and speeches. You will present findings and rationales through written summaries or presentations.

In order to be considered, applicants must be PA residents, must pass the associated civil service exam, and must meet the following minimum requirements: one year of experience as a Workforce Development Analyst 1; OR two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor’s degree; OR an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Starting Salary: $47,883/annually, plus excellent benefits!
