PA Coalition of Drop-In Centers and Peer Resource Centers

PA Coalition of Drop-In Centers and Peer Resource Centers is a member coalition of individuals who attend, work, or volunteer at Drop-In Centers in Pennsylvania.

Members of the Coalition support each other by sharing best practices and program ideas while working together to promote Drop-In Centers throughout all regions of Pennsylvania.

The vision of the Coalition is to encourage and provide support to Drop-In Centers and Peer Resource Centers that welcome all people in recovery and wellness through community integration and inclusion.

Purpose of the Coalition

The purpose of the Coalition is to promote effective statewide communication and networking among centers leading to vital sustainable programs.

An interim technical assistance team with representatives from the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumers' Association (PMHCA), The Office of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (OMHSAS), and the Pennsylvania Association of Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services (PAPSRS) currently assist in the growth and development of the Coalition.

Goals of the Coalition

The Coalition will provide technical assistance, mentoring and training to member Centers with a commitment to developing innovative and successful approaches to improve the services, activities, and governing of the Coalition.
